Recently someone asked me why it takes so long for me to put up my outfit posts. The answer is that I have to wait until I've accumulated enough new pieces in my closet to put together several outfits. I tend to shoot 4-5 outfits in one day and then release them over a period of several days instead of all at once.
So...remember when I said turtlenecks were the move this fall? They've become my go-to layering piece. I love the turtlenecks from Free People because they're super thin and fitted while still being opaque and they come in a lot of different colors. They'll boost any of your old v-neck sweaters if you wear one underneath. That said, make sure you buy long-sleeved turtlenecks so they stick out when you push up the sleeves of your sweater.
Finally, let's talk about that red leather miniskirt. I've been wearing it with pretty much anything lately. Sweatshirts, hoodies, turtlenecks and t-shirts. It looks best when paired with something casual. So put away your blouses and button-downs. Actually, just throw them all away. Dressing casual is the only way to survive winter.
