“If you think those running our concentration camps in America will stop with immigrants, you don't know how fascism works.”
My guest Jemarc Axinto and I are mad. We’re mad because of all the human rights violations happening at the border while everyone is turning their backs. We’re mad because of the ICE raids. We’re mad that people are more upset that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used the term, “concentration camps” than they are about the actual presence of concentration camps. We’re mad because Fox News reporters are shrugging them off and saying, “these are not our kids.”
Concentration camps have always existed in the U.S. and it’s time to admit it.
Why won’t Americans admit that the human detention camps are concentration camps? There is an ideological divide between people who believe in the narrative of American democratic nobility and virtue and people who don’t -- the ones who don’t aren’t interested in American exceptionalism. After all, Nazis didn’t build the first concentration camps. Americans did.
Who are all the migrants, where are they coming from and why are they coming here?
And finally, there is no way to talk about the current immigration policies without talking about their architect, Stephen Miller. If Mitch McConnell is responsible for the trade war mess with China, then Stephen Miller is the responsible for the current extinction agenda going on right under our noses.

Was the government planning on creating “social orphans” out of the children, then offering them up for adoption?

I usually do a write up of the events I’ve organized or hosted and my most-read articles at the end of the year. This was an unusual year (obviously, there is no need to go into it here) so I didn’t bother. Instead I want to highlight a project of mine that I am particularly proud of — it’s my new podcast show, Unverified Accounts, that I cohost with my frequent collaborators, Chris Jesu Lee and Filip Guo. If you're a big movie/TV/book buff, have leftist sympathies, but can't stand 'wokeness' dumbing down our culture, then we're the podcast for you. So far in our 25 episodes, we’ve covered a range of contentious topics.
