Sitting on the floor at one of my favorite thrift stores, A Day N June, owned by my good friend, Lindsey Brown. Her showroom in downtown Baltimore is one of the dopest spots ever, located in an amazing old warehouse that is also home to a bunch of artist studios. The grey RESIST muscle tee I'm wearing throughout this post is by Thread Tank, which is a minority-owned business based in LA. Their tees are super soft and it's a brand that I stand behind and love!

That Green Retro Top is by ModCloth and I love how it's banded at the neck, sleeves and hem. It emphasizes your curves at the top and then whittles down around your waist, giving you the illusion of an hourglass figure. You can wear it with short shorts, pleated miniskirts, knee-length pencil skirts, and high-waisted cigarette pants for a retro look. I decided to pair it with some high-waisted leggings in a leopard print because I'm going through an obsession with 80s fashion right now.
Creatives are naturally curious and experimental people so trying on a lot of different identities, switching majors in school, exploring lots of different career options is normal and should be rewarded rather than penalized.

I went minimal makeup for this shoot and focused on skincare. I used all Rodial Skincare products: Dragon's Blood Velvet Cream (it drip-feeds hydration into your skin throughout the day), Dragon's Blood XXL Lip Plumper (it stings a little, but damnit, it makes my lips shiny and pouty and it tastes like a peach), Baking Powder (no creasing) with their Baking Brush.
